Bully
Disabled people are sweet.
Disabled people are kind.
Disabled people are innocent, right?
What happens when a super fit, gay rugby player, Eddie, becomes disabled in an accident? Bully is hard-hitting monologue about contemporary disability.
Bully was written especially for actor Ben Owen-Jones and explores the hidden hierarchy between those who were born with their disability (such as Tom) and those who acquired their disability later in life (such as Ben.) The research and development for Bully was funded by MGC Futures.
Bully was an Unsolicited Theatre Production first performed as a work-in-progress reading at Ffresh Caberet Bar, Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff on 18th April 2019.
